Jesus Christ invites us to embrace a unique sense of liberation that allows us to discover our true selves. The reality is that there is much more to this world than what meets the eye. Beyond the limits of our perception, lies a multitude of spiritual truths that greatly influence our daily lives, despite being invisible. To fully realize our potential, we must engage in the spiritual battle.

St. Michael's Lent is an ancient tradition rooted in spiritual warfare, dedicated to honoring Saint Michael the Archangel. Saint Michael serves as the special guardian angel for all God's people and stands as our ultimate ally in overcoming the challenges of sin in both our personal lives and the world around us. While we are all familiar with the 40-day period of penance leading up to Easter, popularized by Saint Francis of Assisi during the Middle Ages, St. Michael's Lent takes place during the summertime. It serves as a time for us to prepare our hearts for the Feast of Saint Michael, also known as Michaelmas Day, on September 29th.

By adopting a lifestyle centered around prayer, acts of self-denial, and fostering community, our collective prayer is that we will experience the extraordinary freedom offered by Jesus Christ throughout the 40 days of St. Michael's Lent based on Exodus. Together, we will embark on a spiritual battle for our souls and ultimately become the individuals we were meant to be.
